A video of an 80-year-old couple that is widely shared on social media platforms was recorded from the small local Dhaba called “Baba Ka Dhaba” in Delhi, which talks about how they had no customers to sell foods and to survive their life.

In this video, Kanta Prasad, the owner of ‘Baba Ka Dhaba’ shows vessels containing mater paneer, dal makhani, soya curry, and other dishes to serve the customers. When asked how much he earns in a day. Kanta Prasad showed a bundle of Rs 10 notes from a box and said this is what he has earned.

The couple said, they hardly earn around Rs 100 to 150 a day starting from early morning at 6:30 AM to 9 PM. They also showed the inside view of their Dhaba, like how kanta prasad and his wife manage and prepare delicious foods to sell.

Kanta Prasad said, it has become very difficult to survive since the lockdown. After that, this 80-year-old year couple couldn’t stop their tears.

The man who recorded this video assured Kanta Prasad not to cry or dishearten any more and said- He will pay for the entire food today and will upload this video on YouTube to encourage other people to help them.

Positive use of Social Media

The video was viewed more than 90,000 times on YouTube since uploaded. After watching the videos, it was shared on all social media platforms and soon it spread like a fire in a Jungle.

Thousands of people come together to support this 80-year-old couple. The name was given to the campaign called #BabaKaDhaba and #Malviya Nagar to trend on Twitter.

Many people rushed to visit ‘Baba Ka Dhaba’ and posted a lot of images and videos of the local Dhaba #BabaKaDhaba after watching the videos on YouTube.

When asked, Kanta Prasad said that he was hardly able to sell ‘500 grams of Rice’ in a day but now he is happy as he is able to sell more than ‘5 kg Rice’ in a half day.

The life of Kanta Prasad has totally turned in a positive direction and now he is looking for a person to help in catering to the high demand for foods to the people.

This shows the power of social media in a positive way and teaches the people how they can expand their business if used positively.

Thousands of People rush to Baba ka Dhaba for advertising their brands

A few days back, Baba ka Dhaba was only a local Dhaba at Malviya Nagar in Delhi where an 80-year-old couple was struggling to sell food.

Since the video viral on social media, it has become a famous spot where thousands of people including companies, celebrities, and political leaders are coming to advertising and promoting their brands.

He has become a hero for the public and thousands of people are coming to Baba ka Dhaba and clicking photos with Kanta Prasad.

The Baba Ka Dhaba is completely filled with posters and banners. There’s no place left where companies can put the banners to promote their brands.

The companies offering products like COVID-19 Insurance have also seemed around Baba ka Dhaba.
